Insulation Pad

Lawatherm manufactures Mica products in various size* and shapes of Sheet, Rods, Tubes, FapesfPSAl, Spacer, Half round mica turn & also lifting magnet insulation spares.

Composition

It consists of several layers of muscovite mica paper impregnated with silicone binder pressed under heat & pressure to yield plate / board having excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties.

Application

• Insulation of high temperature heated platens and moulds in hydraulic and presses
• High temperature insulation of electrode ami in arc furnace* and ladle furnaces
• High temperature insulation between coil and crucible In induction furnaces
• Insulation in dynamic braking resistors used in lacomolives
• Applications requiring high voltage resistance at high tern peral ures
